If you're referring to the cup?
I guess that's the way your country preaches population control :D

And what in gods name does my country got to do with this?
And no. I was referring to the chest rig and the helmet.

Re: Best schedule ever

Smedberg, they need the helmets and chest rigs because its a full contact sport, think of it as ice hockey... you dont send them to play without the paddings and helmets.

Precisely, Soccer isn't meant to be a full contact sport, it's just sometimes they sacrifice their body for the game,

Re: Best schedule ever

I've been back in Sweden for 8 months now, and knowing that soccer isn't the actual name of the sport, and thinking it would make Smedberg happy, lets just call it Football, and call American Football, American Football.

after all, Football has been around much longer and is a lot more popular with the world, and we cant just change the name of the sports, in both cases; calling Football, Soccer. and calling American Football, "Hand Egg"...

I know the word is two agonizing letters longer, but, if it will stop you guys from hating each others sports, then its worth saying.

Re: Best schedule ever

I'm calling it what it's called here, Soccer. I don't have a problem with Soccer, or Football. But I'm from America, and I'm not going to stop calling it what we call it here.

If we're calling ours American Football, then we're calling his European Football.

Most respectfully, I have to disagree.
Football / American Football.
