the result of the vote to keep RRO alive is 50:9, so we'll keep it running.

The next action taken is an administration team meeting to establish
a set of detailed rules for theese forums, discuss about punishments
for breaking those rules and agree on re-adding a few moderators.

Please do NOT apply for a staff position, we already have some fine guys
in mind that WE will get in touch with after our meeting.

Dear visitors, members and administration team!

Around 10 months ago the "RRO" first saw the daylight and was planned
to be a discussion base for the realism community, to help people to
get in touch with each other, to strengthen good relations between
units and to get all Plugins you need to successfully setup a realism server.

Unfortunately, around 300 days later, I have to accept that almost all of
those plans have failed.
There's a bunch of people registered here, but most of the topics and
posts you can find here are either useless, pointless or only intend
to cause drama and flaming.

You can trust me that this is not an easy decission as I have invested a lot
of time, work, money, blood, sweat and tears into this project, but at some
point you just have to face the facts and rather end it than keep it running
pointless.

When the last sponsoring is running out on 24th August, the RRO will be
shut down and the administration team is released from their duties.

I would like to thank all the guys that have been supporting this project from
the beginning and later on.

And don't worry, the helpful plugins will still be available, they will just move
to dodsourceplugins.net once I am ready for a complete re-launch there.

After SEVERAL complaints about moderators abusing their powers
we came to the conclusion that we will empty the "Moderators" group
and leave the moderation to the trusted admin team.

From now on we're not taking any applications for moderator jobs anymore.
